What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda literally means the "Science of Life", it contains a system of understanding that teaches us how to live in harmony with our environment. This science occurs at the individual level which reveals to each of us a unique path towards optimal health. Ayurveda has its roots in ancient India and is dated to be 5,000 years old. Its time tested wisdom is still relevant today as it was then and that is because it is based on the laws of nature.

Q&A

How will Āyurveda help my symptoms and any diagnosed conditions?

By creating balance in your body and harmony in your mind, Āyurveda will help create an optimum environment for healing to take place.  When the body is out of balance it communicates this imbalance by creating symptoms. When balance and harmony are restored, symptoms disappear. This is how the body heals itself

How long does it take to implement an Āyurvedic lifestyle?

Our focus is not on healing your body from any condition, but rather in supporting your body and mind to heal itself. Most people will feel better and better as a result of implementing the treatment plan. Most lifestyle programs are implemented within 6 - 12 months in order to create sustainable change. Sustainable change are lifelong habits

Do I have to come every week? Can I see you once a month?

My goal in working with you is to help you successfully implement Āyurveda into your life. This is a lifestyle goal. In order to do this, it is found that regular and frequent visits are most successful. Upon successful implementation of recommendations, your appointments may change. We will begin at 1X per week for the first 4 - 6 visits to start. This will change as you progress. It may change to 1x every two weeks or three weeks. It may progress to seasonally. This is very individual per patient
